CHILDREN MUSIC LESONS (program for children 3-6 years old) is known in our community as Family Friendliest Music Class. It is created to accommodate siblings and it is charged PER FAMILY. If you are having two or more children in the same immediate family living in the same household, you will pay for first child only. Each additional child is FREE of charge. I am mother of three and I have found literally impossible to find anything to fit all my kids and I know how challenging it can be so I have decided to make a difference in our community.
Classes are offered twice a week, unparented. Spots in classes are assigned on a first come first serve basis. The class a child belongs to is determined by the child's age as of January 1st.
Classes are led by Mrs. Mima Jovanovic BMus, MMus, recipient of Teacher Recognition Certificate for region of Alberta for 2012 year awarded by Royal Conservatory of Music. Classes are held in home like environment with calming effect of classical music. Age appropriate workbooks are given to each child. We are focusing on teaching basics music theory, music history, funny facts about most popular composers, we teach kids to compose and we are playing educational musical games and we are only school offering to each child to play on REAL INSTRUMENTS ! Forget about banging pans and pots, each student will be given opportunity to learn and play on real piano, real (child size) violin, cello and guitar, learn about instruments and we are working on proper singing posture.
All classes perform on Final Recital and certificates will be awarded to students. This is a real musical experience to be remembered and treasured for a lifetime.
